Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an experienced Ocean Freight Forwarder for a position with a client in Gothenburg. In this role, you will become a vital part of the logistics flow, working in a broad and autonomous position with significant personal responsibility. You will handle multiple parallel cases and play a central role in ensuring efficient and quality-assured sea freight transport in an environment where the pace can sometimes be high. Responsibilities:

• Planning, coordination, and execution of sea freight shipments
• Booking of import and export shipments, as well as ongoing follow-up
• Daily contact with customers, shipping lines, agents, terminals, and other partners
• Preparation, review, and handling of transport and freight documents, such as Bills of Lading and customs documentation
• Ensuring deliveries comply with agreed contracts, timeframes, and regulations
• Handling deviations and proactive problem-solving in case of delays or changes in the transport chain

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in ocean freight forwarding
• Is accustomed to working independently and taking significant personal responsibility
• Is stress-resistant, detail-oriented, and service-minded
• Has good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbal and written
• Is proficient in relevant systems, preferably Cargowise
